[ mood | happy ] [ music | Too Much to Ask - Jess McAvoy ] It being our long weekend off and all, I naturally have nothing better to do than to regale you endlessly with stories of my adventures. But before that, I have remembered something I was meant to tell you AGES ago, which is this: Penny can blow spit bubbles. You may not think this is actually impressive, unless youve seen it, when you realise it is quite possibly the BEST THING YOU HAVE EVER SEEN. Because she blows them and they just go floating off into the distance. Ive never met ANYONE who can do that. Its very cool. She can also blow them with her nose, but that was an accident and kind of disgusting. So yeah. I was meant to tell yall, and she was mildly disappointed when I said Id forgotten, so now you know. Hearts to you all. Yesterday was very lazy. Family called early, so spoke to Mum, Dad and Anna - who went to a disco with her brother school the other evening. Hee! She says there were no hot boys there though, and I told her that theres no such thing as a hot thirteen year old boy. Apparently the awesome foursome (Briah and Lea, and Michael and Raph) went to a club (which we all say as dis-COT-eh-queue now after Jodi getting quite drunk on Limoncello and reading a neon sign incorrectly) the other night and Bri picked up. Thats funny. I predict that they and Katrina and Hazel are currently killing each other in Rome. In fact Katrina and Hazel will probably kill each other. Yesterday morning they were packing and it went like this: Katrina: Can I put my stuff in your bag? Hazel: Sure Katrina: Where should I put it? Hazel: Where ever. I dont care. Katrina: Well its your bag. Hazel: I dont care. Just put it where ever. Katrina: But its YOUR BAG. Tell me where to put my stuff. Hazel: I DONT CARE. PUT IT WHERE EVER. Katherine: Oh you two are going to have FUN. Katrina and Hazel: *glare* Watched rather a lot of MTV, Penny came over and we chatted, internetted, spoke to Tegan on the phone, then went up to Kristy and Lydias room for a dinner party which involved Kristy, Lydia, Cassie, Gen, Penny, Rochelle and me combining the contents of all our fridges, which ended up coming to two bottles of cheap wine, rather a lot of cheese, two economy packs of crackers, a can of chickpeas, a jar of champignons, some capsicum, three containers of pasta sauce which we used as dip, several bottles of water, two tomatoes, three boiled eggs, five bread roles and a jar of mayonnaise. Gen brought her English friend Gemma who was very nice. Cassie got stuck into Michael a bit with him away. It was funny. Eventually, Penny and I decided we wanted Gelati, so we went on a wander down to Coronas, but it was closed, so we ended up at some awful American chain, but the gelati was OK and the boy at the counter flirted with us and packed the gelati cups so full that if youd levelled it out, you would have had enough for another level cup. Rather than go back and join everyone else, we then had a walk through the city. Crossed the Ponte Vecchio and eight separate men or groups of men ranging in age from about 24 or 25 to about 45 tried to pick us up. It was funny. The cute young one didnt speak enough English for a proper conversation though. Bummer. *Grins*. We got a dinner invitation from an older man who informed us that he was studying tropical agriculture. In Florence. Bo. Got up at 12 today. Didnt mean to. It means I missed breakfast unfortunately. EDIT: OMG Bree is going to Ghana in January to teach English, French and music! Have a wonderful time Bree and let me know how everything goes, OK?
