Fes

Hello all! This is just a quick post to let you know that I am not dead yet. The flight over was highly uneventful, and we got our train to Marrakech without a hitch. We had a lot of trouble finding our hotel, but it was very nice when we did find it!
Spent the following day at the Jardins Majorelle and the Palais Al Badi, and dropped into the night markets as well. We got an overnight bus to Fes, which was delayed, and on which I threw up the contents of my stomach several times over, and divided our day in Fes between napping, and getting thoroughly lost in the Medina!
It is, of course, stinking hot here. It was worse in Marrakech, where the desert heat sucks the moisture from your skin, and we unfortunately followedhte how to of heat exhaustion! We have been drinking copious amounts of water, but we are all still dehydrated. And achey too, with all the walking! We are hoping to acclimatise by Egypt, which will be even hotter.
Everyone is really nice, and the hassling isnt as bad as in India.
I know this is a brief post, but curfew is in twenty minutes, and I am typing on a French keyboard, which is slowing things down somewhat.
Meknes tomorrow for the ruins, and Rabat the day after. Missing you slightly, but mostly enjoying myself! Hope you are too.
